Roya Hakimzadeh has lived in the Metro area for over 30 years and is a long time resident of Montgomery County. While navigating her son through the public schools, she served on various charities/administrative committees and chaired numerous extracurricular organizations, giving her an in-depth understanding of the diverse needs of families in the community. Having relocated several times, even internationally, she also understands the demands of moving into a new home and a new community.
Roya has extensive knowledge of home renovation and design and offers complimentary design consultation for clients who wish to remodel or renovate their home. In addition to a full range of listing services, she can recommend qualified trade professionals, assist with materials selection and provide complimentary start-to-finish project management.
With a Master’s degree in International Economics and International Affairs from SAIS, the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Sciences in Washington DC, Roya brings an international perspective to her work. She is fluent in four languages : French, Italian and Persian (Farsi)—and proficient in Spanish.
Outside of real estate, Roya is dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and endangered species. She’s on the board of advisors of Wildlife Alliance, a non-profit that has rescued over 3,500 animals and preserved thousands of acres in the Cardamom Corridor, the largest home to the Asian elephant.
Roya lives in Potomac with her husband Marty, their son Dariush is a Senior at Villanova University.
