Penny joined Long & Foster following 11 years of real estate experience with another large broker. Having worked both as an office administrator and in sales, she brought a thorough understanding of Washington, DC area neighborhoods and all facets of the buying and selling processes to her business at Long & Foster.
Penny has a bachelor’s degree in industrial organizational psychology from UMBC and has worked as a volunteer recruiter and office administrator for the nonprofit Court Appointed Special Advocates/CASA in Prince George’s County. Today, using her excellent communication skills and ability to define people’s needs, Penny is a powerful advocate for her real estate clients.
Penny is affiliated with Long & Foster’s Logan Circle Office, where she partners with Realtor® Chris Kuchnicki. Together they form Chris K & Associates, an energetic, client-centric real estate team that has built a reputation for expertise and heart.
Outside of real estate, Penny is an active supporter of EW Stokes Elementary and DC International, where she helped grow many of the community activities while her child was attending school there. Ashton, Penny’s pride and joy, was in the second graduating class of DCI in 2021 and now attends Tufts University in Boston.
Helping people find community is a big driving force for Penny. Over the years she has become an advocate for LGBTQ youth. She also enjoys discovering world cultures through travel, cooking, and the DMV’s diverse dining scene.
