Hello – my name is Yvette Preston and I am a Real Estate Professional.

I am licensed to provide real estate services in the states of Virginia and Maryland and I am currently anAssociate Real Estate Brokerwith Long and Foster.

I began my real estate career in 2004 as a real estate sales associateand I possess the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council’s (REBAC) Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation. I am also a realtor and member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR), and Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR).

I specialize in residential sales (resale, rehab, and new construction) and working with first time homebuyers, real estate investors, developers, and housing agencies. I am an advocate for affordable housing and a Virginia Housing Qualified Trainer/Educator and Real Estate Investment Consultant.

I attended Howard University business school and hold the prestigious BIS Degree in Urban Housing Redevelopment Management from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a focused discipline in Accounting, Real Estate Management, and Urban and Regional Studies.

I service the areas of Central Virginia (City of Richmond, Henrico County, Hanover, Chesterfield, Goochland); Hopewell; Northern Virginia (City of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax County, Falls Church); and Maryland (Prince George's County and Montgomery County).

My mission is to provide my clients with the knowledge and tools needed to create a financial wellness plan and road map for success beginning with their first real estate investment. The personalized services that I provide can help change people’s lives and create better vibrant communities.

I am also passionate about entrepreneurship and its ability to empower individuals, particularly women. I coach women and young professionals who are looking to become entrepreneurs in the field of Real Estate.

I support a pro vegan diet and lifestyle and advancing racial equity inhousing and community development.
