With Absecon Bay right outside their doorsteps, it's no surprise the residents of Absecon spend a lot of time in the great outdoors. The Absecon Wildlife Management Area has 3,700 acres of protected marshlands famous for fishing and bird-watching. The parking lot and boat slip are located on Faunce Road, and the area can get very busy during peak season.

Whether they've spent the day on the water or putting in eight hours at the office, locals love to gather in the town's many pubs and casual-dining restaurants. Seafood obviously figures prominently on area menus, but there's a wide variety of cuisines to choose from.
