Kim launched her estate career in 2016 joining the Long & Foster—Bethany Beach Real Estate firm. She has sold homes and building lots in Lewes, Rehoboth, Millsboro, Dagsboro and Bethany Beach. Her out-of-state clients exploring Sussex County and the coastal communities value Kim’s knowledge of the region, targeted client-focused research, and meticulous market monitoring.
Kim grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia where her mother was a Long & Foster sales agent for 24 years. After graduating from
The University of Virginia, Kim began her career as a merchandise manager for the
JC Penney Company in Ithaca, NYand later as a manager at
Talbots in Basking Ridge, NJ.She spent 14 years as a boarding school administrator specializing in standardized testing and college admissions at
The Hill School (PA),residential life at
Western Reserve Academy (OH), and admissions at
Vermont Academy. Jay's professional interest in real estate began in 2015 serving on the staff of the nonprofit affordable homebuilder
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity. Over five years, he built associations with local and county officials, real estate developers and sales professionals, contractors, sub-contractors, skilled tradesmen, banks and community organizations giving Jay an in-depth, county-wide perspective on homeownership in Southern Delaware. In 2020, he joined the Long & Foster—Bethany Beach Real Estate Firm.
