About Middleburg Office
The charming village of Middleburg, founded in 1787, is located along Route 50 in Loudoun County midway between Alexandria and Winchester. In the early 1900s, a wave of visitors descended on the town for foxhunting and steeplechasing, and the village soon earned a reputation as a horse and hunt capital, attracting prominent visitors such as Jackie Kennedy. With a population of just over 600, Middleburg has maintained much of its rural roots. Surrounded by horse farms and rolling hills, the village boasts not only quaint shops but a thriving mix of big businesses such as investment firms, architects and Internet companies, all just 35 miles from Reston and Tysons Corner. In January 2006, the Middleburg Sales office of Long and Foster Realtors opened its doors. Since then, the office has grown to nearly 20 agents, conducted millions in sales, and produced some of the top agents in the industry. Our expertise ranges from residential and land sales to commercial investment properties. And if you’re interested in horse farms, we’re the ones to call! Stop by for a visit…we’ll make you feel right at home.
