Finding New Adventures

We love to travel.  Exploring both internationally as well as domestic.  From UTV's in the Salt Flats of Utah, to cave tubbing in Belize, we love adventures.  In 2014 I became PADI scuba certified and enjoy diving.  Locally we enjoy kayaking, fishing, and hiking.  I tried a little skiing in the Shenandoah's, but wasn't really my thing, but I do like to snow mobile in Colorado.  

At home we enjoy gardening.  My daughter is learning how to cook and we like to can jams.

You can also find me in my art studio. Covid was a crazy time for everyone.  Even though real estate transactions were still happening, I found myself with more "forced" time at home.  So I really dove into painting, both for my sanity and to pass the time.  Painting is something I have always loved to do, but never set aside time for.  Now I have made it into a small business. Occasionally vending at an art show, and have my work at a couple of local galleries. My daughter, also an artist, also likes to spend time with me here and we paint together.

Building Homes 

We have recently embarked on a new adventure of home building.  My husband has a small construction company and we have started building new homes.  You can occasionally find me on the job site helping out.  Its a fun thing we do as a family and it also gives me a lot more knowledge on the exact thing I am selling....houses.  Learning them from inside-out has been a great experience.  From the design and permit process, putting up the walls, picking out all the finishes, and eventually listing it for sale.
