Jane is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery. She recently served on Montgomery County Executive Isaiah Leggett’s Economic Advisory Council and was invited by Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot to testify in Annapolis in on the state of the real estate market.
Jane has given a residential real estate State of the Market speech at the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate Update Presentation for the last 10 years.

Along with her husband David, Jane Fairweather also runs various programs to benefit the local community, among them the Jane Fairweather Community Service Scholarship Award. Every year this community service achievement award is presented to one student from each of the three Bethesda area high schools.
For 13 years, Jane has mentored a young girl from Nigeria (whose family fled during the oil wars in their country.) Jane considers it a very rewarding experience to play a positive role in a growing child’s life.
Over the past several years, Jane Fairweather has also been responsible for 20,000 residents in Bethesda and Chevy Chase waking up on Fourth of July morning to the sight of American flags in their front yard.
